Remove the radio
On the DAF XF, CF and LF the radio is located in the dash panel above the centre console. Remove the trim ring with a plastic pry tool, then remove the Torx screws holding the unit in place.

Read the serial number
The serial number is on the label on the side or top of the radio. DAF mainly uses Blaupunkt and Bosch radios. Note the full serial number.
