Get your radio code in three simple steps

Find the PRE code in your car
The PRE code is a unique identification code that Renault (and Dacia) uses to calculate your personal radio code. This code is on a sticker in your car — in the vast majority of cases behind the glove box.
- Open the glove box fully
- Look on the back wall or the bottom of the compartment
- The sticker is white or silver-grey with letters and digits (e.g. P123456AB)
- No sticker? Remove the radio using DIN removal keys — the sticker is also on the back of the radio
Tip: Use a torch for best readability, especially in older cars where the sticker may be faded. - 2
Enter your PRE code on our site
Go to the order page and enter your PRE code. Select your brand (Renault or Dacia) and your model. Check the entered code carefully — a typo will result in an incorrect radio code.

- Enter the full PRE code, including any letters
- Enter your email address for delivery
Tip: Enter the PRE code as literally as possible — upper and lower case may be relevant for the calculation. - 3

Receive your radio code by email
After a successful payment your radio code is automatically calculated and sent directly to your email address. This takes an average of 60 seconds. The email also contains instructions for entering the code.

Tip: Keep the email with your radio code in a safe place — you will need it again next time your battery is replaced. - 5
Enter the code and enjoy music
With the received code you can unlock your radio in less than a minute. The procedure is similar for all Renault and Dacia radios, but the exact steps depend on your radio type.
- Turn on the ignition — the radio shows "CODE" or dashes
- Update List: use buttons 1–4 to set each digit
- Media Nav / touchscreen: enter the code via the touchscreen
- Confirm the code with the MODE, OK or confirmation button
Tip: Have you entered the code incorrectly three times? The radio blocks for 1 hour. Keep the ignition on until the blocking time has passed.
